This is a dynamic and interactive certified program intended for those who aspire to move into management, new managers in the role, and existing managers who wish to become more effective in their roles. It is particularly suitable for all types of sales management.
The MIT was first introduced to the UK by the late Joe D Adams who was at that time, the CEO of Encyclopaedia Britannica (UK & Eire) Ltd in 1981. I attended MIT course no 3 in 1986 as a student and then twice more in subsequent years in order to take full psychological ownership of the content and then to be able to teach it which I have successfully done over the past 30+ years!
The course is held one full day a week over a period of 6 – 8 weeks depending on the speed of uptake of the group. Now, this is not a course where I stand up and teach or lecture the students and give out multiple handouts! It is extremely interactive where I lead a conversation where we end up at the correct conclusion.
There is ‘homework’ set during the course consisting of a series of 4 essays and there is a written examination at the end of the course, the pass mark is 70%. The exam is an ‘open book’ exam so that students may consult their own written notes.
